A Big Scare

That's a man who loves football.

The Rock gave us all a scare after his left hand was stepped on in the 3rd quarter.  It was bleeding from a puncture and the training staff feared it was broken.  After a few minutes, he just said said "screw it - tape it up, I'm going back in."  Big heart on this kid.

South passed for over 250 yards.  The Rock was the only one to register a QB knockdown or pressure.  He had 3.

Did he miss a couple of assignments on offense?  Sure.  But he kept improving, having his best game yet at tackle.

This was my favorite blown assignment.  Notice Muscles running a pass route?  That's 5 yards downfield.  The Rock thought this was a run.  I mean, how often do you get to see a pancake block on a pass.  Magnificent.

Yeah. 

We praise The Rock (rightfully) a lot here, so it's only fair we mention this - Lincoln has one more TD on Saturday if you held your block on #17, buddy.  

Uh.  Did anyone else know Austin could jump that high?

Lots of concern here.  Thankfully, he's OK...
