No Rest for the Wicked

They don't want to slap your hand, Nick.

That was pretty cool.  Nick made his debut as a defensive back laying the kind of wood that the Mayor would have been proud of.  Later, in a classy move by Coach D, the Swiss Army Knife played the entire second half at quarterback... all while playing defensive back, too.  The Swiss Army Knife goes both ways now?

He's about to get a workout.

So, Nick held like a pro.

He hit like a pro.

Lined up at WR like a pro.

Ran the ball like a pro.

And threw the ball like a pro.

He even completed that pass!

Coach D: "I don't care if you're tired.  Get back in there"

Don't get too close, Nick.  He'll tackle you, too.

Nick and Jonah were practicing this all week.

Said Nick of his tackle in the first half: "That's the first time I hit someone since 8th grade. I didn't even hit anyone in practice."  That's also the first real quote I've used on this blog.

Good work, Nick.  You got a season's worth of playing time into one game.  Now go bust up those Chargers.
